Tucked away in the heart of Bude, The Old Bakery is a beautifully designed, character-filled holiday home just a short stroll from Bude’s epic Summerleaze Beach. Blending period charm with modern comforts, this inviting retreat offers the perfect escape for families or groups looking to enjoy the best of Cornwall’s coastal lifestyle, with easy access to beaches, scenic walks, and the vibrant town centre.
The Old Bakery features four bright and airy bedrooms, including two doubles, a twin and a bunk room perfect for our littlest guests. Making the most of the Cornish light, the top floor is home to a fully equipped kitchen and cosy living space complete with wood-burning stove and a spacious dining area overlooking the dunes. Outside there is a first floor private BBQ terrace, whilst on the ground floor there’s an walled garden with a warm outdoor shower. The Old Bakery is also dog-friendly.
Located on the North Cornish coast close to the border with neighbouring Devon, Bude is famous for its sandy beaches, stunning coastal walks, wild Atlantic surf and popular saltwater pool. With its Victorian heritage charm, the town itself is an eclectic mix of canal-side galleries, independent shops and beach-side eateries - all just a short walk from The Old Bakery.
